As announced in early December, One Piece is teaming up with Nike for a trio of Devil Fruit-themed sneakers. The three pairs will feature designs inspired by Luffy’s Gomu Gomu, Law’s Ope Ope, and Ace’s Mera Mera fruits.
There is no word yet on the price or release date outside of the fact that they’ll be launching in 2026. Still, the pictures revealed are enough to give sneaker-heads a taste of what’s to come. According to sneaker website Fullres, an additional apparel line is also being released.
The collaboration with Nike Sportswear, which reflects the worldview of the One Piece anime, is set to be a large-scale collaborative collection, similar to the Yu-Gi-Oh! x Nike Air Max 95. In
addition to the Air Max Plus, which is inspired by the Gomu Gomu no Mi, Mera Mera no Mi, and Ope Ope no Mi, an apparel collection is also planned to be released.
One Piece Kicks Off 2026 With an Incredible Trio of Shoes
The new line of One Piece x Nike shoes is a fantastic tribute to the beloved franchise. Each one appropriately evokes the iconic Devil Fruits while still looking fashionable and high quality, even to those who are unfamiliar with the anime juggernaut.
2026 Is Going To Be the Year of One Piece
This latest clothing collaboration is just further evidence of One Piece’s pop-culture ubiquity. One Piece has previously collaborated with icons like Lego and Labubu, so it’s no surprise to see Eiichiro Oda’s beloved franchise collaborate with Nike.
The shoe and apparel collection is just another brick in the tower that is One Piece’s plans for 2026 and beyond.
Netflix is currently gearing up to make One Piece season 2’s March 10th premiere one of their biggest ever, while the anime and manga continue dropping game-changing revelations.
Fans are also speculating that One Piece is gearing up for a new movie, hinting that the franchise’s future is indeed bright.
One Piece fans were already going to have a great 2026, and the mega-hit franchise’s latest sneaker collaboration is just icing on the cake.
